How to play ~temp .avi file

It's unlikelly, but...
Check it's size. Does it actualy has somethink in it/ Or it's a very few kb file?
If it does have an actual size, maybe you can open it.
Make a copy of the file, and try working with that one, not the actual temp. First, try changing the name and extension of the file to another media format (folder options> View> Uncheck Hide extensions for known files- now you should see it's extension, so just rename the file name and extention),run a typical scan on it ,also try opening it with other players...
