Hello,
Does anyone know why this message appears when I try and create a GPO ?

The domain controller for Group Policy operations is not available. You may cancel this operation for this session or retry using one of the following domain controller choices:

The one with the Operations Master token for the PDC emulator

The one used by the Active Directory Snap-ins

Use any available domain controller

I have found this on the Microsoft site http://support.microsoft.com/kb/257435/en-us, but file and printer sharing are enabled and the TCP/IP NETBIOS service is operational.

If this is of any help, I have created in a lab environment GPO's for WSUS without any problems (Single Domain Controller), and now I'm trying to replicate this in our production environment which has 2 DC's.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

When you open the GPMC, are you pointing to the forest name or to a specifc DC?

Which mode, 2003 mix/native, or 2008?
