seagate 7200.11's had problems . I know theyre supposed to be fixed but seagate were wrong about that before ..
Both a the WD Black or samsung drives are faster .
That blows your combo deal , but since you can download the RC of Windows 7 for nothing and use it till march next year that may not be a big issue .
The 3 way sli board is really only useful if you want 3 way sli . Do you plan on buying 3 gfx cards? If not the board is expensive and not worth the extra IMO . If you dont plan to sli at all then get a mb with an intel p45 chipset . More stable and a better overclocker
The power supply is also expensive . You wont need 700 watts for the system you have chosen . 500 would be plenty but if you want overkil then a corsair 650 tx is $80 on newegg and as good or better quality than the thermaltake
Well I probably will add some more graphics card, and the price of the motherboard is $180 instead of $280 until the 31st, so I probably will get it.
The hard drive comes with the vista for a good price, so if that break I'm sure I can replace it.
I'm not worried about the power supply price atm.
The only thing is, what would the best starting graphics card be? And would this machine (assuming everything works fine) run games very well for a good time to come?
I'm having second thoughts about the gtx series, someone recommened I get the 9800 gt or something.
