Here are my questions (if you could please put number to the one your responding to that would be sweet)
1. The 780g mobo I have chosen has integrated ati hd 3200, do you think it has enoght muscle to play 1080p movies smoothly? (x264, bluray movies)
2. Is the 2.5ghz amd low energy processor enough for this?
3. I was thinking about using windows7 rc or my old copy of windows xp. Noobish questions but in case....I can play bluray movies in xp right?
4. Do you think 4gigs of ram is to much for this simple system? I can get 2gb ram for $20 so I could save and get a tad faster dual core amd for that

Thanks for reading this and taking your time I appreciate it.

The 4850e CPU can take care of the HD video already. The HD 3200 will decode just fine. The only things I can think of are, the PSU and maybe the RAM. This is what I suggest. That Rosewill PSU is probably a real bad generic one that will probably suck.
