That mobo down below is exactly what you want with that set up of yours. Do get rid of that psu though. It's a dud. Go with either a Corsair, OCZ Fatal1ty or PC Power & Cooling 550w psu. If your a Brit, try these two links down below for some decent deals. One other thing...if you change Cases from that CM 690 to an Antec 300 you will save yourself some money without losing out on quality.
Seriously this is a bit of waste going with a dual core...get an amd 940 since you have the budget for it....or a 720 if you can't fit the 940 in there....

AMD Phenom X3 (720 BE) or X4 (940 BE0 will fit in your budget and they are a good choice. However if you mainly plan on gaming and want to upgrade later and possibly save some money - then the E7400 isn't that bad of a choice. Check this article: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] end-system
