When i got my settings on my second monitor the way i wanted it then restarted. The computer all of a sudden thought that it had three monitors, two dvi and one analog. When i go to my properties settings it says that three screens are there. my main screen is screen 1. the second screen is the analog, and the third screen is my other monitor. Is there a way to force off the 2nd monitor so that there will be no analog monitor? Then move my 3rd monitor in place of the 2nd monitor?
if you using xp go to display properties, settings, and you will see 3 icons for screens click the icon for the one you want to disable and then look below that there are two check boxes uncheck extend my desktop onto this display. and it's icon should gray out.
