So Im thinking of building a kinda cheap computer <$800 for internet, music, word, maybe minor gaming here and there. I already have keyboard, mouse, speakers, and the monitor. Will be running Windows XP.
I already have some parts picked out, pleace advise.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz - $168

This sums up to about $630 which leaves me some cash for the case and anything else I might need.

Do you have a 64 or 32 bit os?

If you have a 64 bit you might want to think about stepping up to 2x2gb sticks of ram. G. Skill - for example

You also don't have a case listed. This might be a good option Antec 300

Are you thinking you might sli your graphics card in the future?

also if u want your url's to work propperally you nee to put your text about the link between

+1 Antec 300 :P Also the 9600GSO is a pretty bad discrete GPU for $/performance and here it is only trading blows with a HD4650 :(
