Has anyone ever attempted to put 3 GB in a7v8x-x? Did it work? What configuration ?

Thanks for the link,..but actually, I'd like to know if anyone out there has succeeded in putting 3GB in this motherboard.

If the web manufacturer say that support the 3GB, you don't need wait till somebody confirm this.

not looking for manufacturer info,..but a real-world experience and the config with the memory. It's an old board; somebody's done it.
