Hi
I just bought i7 with msi x58 pro motherboard, 4 gb gskil ram, 1 tb hdd, 4670 saphire card.
the problem i am facing. i am not able instal winxp or win 7 os
tried a lot
it show blue screen error while installer "bad pool caller" on winxp with service pack 2
in win7 it showed disable bios memory and cache error , some time blue screen ( 0x000008e,0x8bd597f7,0x8875db2c)
i even updated latest bios also
i am not able to judge whether the graphic card ,HDD,or Ram causing this issue
i dont know were this issue need to be addresed . sorry for multiple post
1. Clear CMOS and set every thing to standard settings. Make sure RAM voltage is correct. (btw, WHY do you have 2*2GB on a X58 board???)
2. Get Memtest86+ and check your RAM.
Right on with that, also i would remove all your hardware and put them back bit buy bit, it could be the ram is bad...or the video card could be doing it...too bad you dont have onboard video...does your BIOS have a S.M.A.R.T feature for the HD? could be bad hard drive on boot up. I had a bad hard drive that kept poping up BSOD just as i was about to get in the vista install screen, and i found out it was going bad.
