Have you tried each stick independently? If not try that and also try with your old stick and new graphics card. If you have the crashing problem with your old stick and new card then try the new mem with the old graphics card (the integrated one). You should be able to narrow it down using the process of elimination. Also make sure (you prob have but...) to install the latest forceware drivers for the video card.

(1) Have you shut off the integrated graphics in the Bios?

(2) When you shut off the integrated graphics, did you clean out the old graphics drivers?

------------------------------ Which Chip? Well, it depends on which set of thieving b@stardz you choose to support: The ones who use insider trading to enrich themselves while running their company into the ground, or the ones who illegally pay vendors to not support the first group.

check PSU, that gpu uses far more power than that of the onboard, what is the brand of it?

It could be a gfx as well at this point, but if the machine is a OEM or LQ one, PSU would become a suspect as well.

check your drivers/settings too, in case if its something like that.

first install driver sweeper for your OS

then uninstall all drivers that is relating to both the IGP and the nvidia driver

then boot into safe mode, and run driver sweeper, you have to know what your IGP is and then select nvidia video card for driver sweeper
