I don't record from the soundcard. I use my computer only for edit wav file and I burn it to CD to listen on a CD player and not on my computer. Is the quality of soundcard is important or no difference ?

not a single difference the sound card only comes into play when you hear music from anything plugged into it

sound card will not help the sound quality unless the sound is either going into or coming out of it. But some cards will accelerate conversions using their on board chips.

No, in theory a soundcard isn't even required.
