Im having trouble getting a DVI signal to my LCD TV. The motherboard is Gigabyte GA-MA790GP-UD4H and has onboard graphics, an ati radeon 3300. The mobo has vga and dvi already integrated. I updated all the drivers for the display from the amd ati website and the chip set as well. I enabled dvi in the bios so it would run in DVI. I got a DVI-I cable from ebay, pluged it in to my tv and CANT get anything. Everything is connected fine, I have a 23inch philips lcd tv which has only vga, dvi and a component hd. The manuel says its a dvi-d input, but i bought a dvi-i cable; i should work fine right? Thanks.

well i should have done my homework, but i just checked my cable and its a DVI-I signal link. My motherboard says the onboard dvi port is a DVD-D and my montior says DVD-D. Do you think i might have to get a dual dvd-d cable?

Get a DVI-D dual link cable if you can.
