removing write protection from removable disk

I'm putting pictures on a 2gig kodak sd card. Its about half full and now it no longer allows me to add pictures saying the disc is write protected.

First, make sure the slider on the side did not accidentally go to locked position.
Second, you will need to make sure the card is healthy, you can run a check disk on it.
Also, you can right-click on it> properties> security> check allow write permission.
