Acer administrator password/ don\'t have recovery disk

how can i reset the password on my acer without a recovery disk?

When you turn on your computer..

When it gets to the welcome screen press the combination of Alt,Control,Delete together twice.

A box will appear. Enter "Administrator" (without the quotes) for the user name and leave the password blank.

Click Ok or just press Enter.

Go to Start>Control Panel>User accounts, and change the password for your account.

Assuming your profile has administrative or power user rights, you can reset the administrator password from the command prompt by typing:

net user Administrator *
<enter.
<enter.

The two (2) enters is when it asks for a new password and to confirm your password, both <enter.'s means there is no password, then you should be able to freely log into admin without typing a password. This applies to XP and higher.
