Ran the BIOS update utility for my ECS 915P-A2 (V7.1) MB, via the AM1 WinFlash utility. Update process seem to run ok :ouch: , but when I do a BIOS revew, BIOS has not been updated :pt1cable: . Looked at the MB jumper and MB CMOS setting and did not see any restriction that could hold up the process :sarcastic: . Any help you can provide, would be appreciated :sweat: . Running Vista HM Premium with all updates.

You have to be careful with winflash, or you could end up with a dead motherboard. It's also possible that you already have the latest version. Have you checked the bios number at the post screen?

You need to run it as administrator.
Best to use a floppy or a bootable flash drive and flash in DOS, so other processes do not interfere.
Undo any overclocks.

Thank you o1die and evongugg, come to find out that my second try at using the AM1 Winflash utility Did work. Checked the BIOS version and it has the latest dated BIOS flash. Both of you have a good weekend :>
