Well they're both the same price, but one is 1066 and one is 800, the timings make them somewhat equivalents. So which one would the better of the two?

Go with the 1066.

The difference in speed is greater than the difference in timings.

Well first of all if you aren't going to OC then go for either you want because voltage/timings/speed are mostly important for OC'ng and have a little effect on general performance.
But if are going to OC,again both are good but i would choose the DDR2 800 model because of lower timings/voltages
