Whenever i run games inclusind crysis warhead, call of duty 4, GRID i get freezing, black screens, crazy colours and often they will crash but it alsways says its the driver,,, Im not so sure. Its all updated and its a new build, should i get a new one??
Assuming you have the correct power; make sure you have the proper power plugs in place, if so and its under warranty I would send it in for a replacement or refund.

No, actually, there's no chance at all. We just like making you do ridiculously stupid things like slowing down your computer back to the speed that it was delivered at.
Come on, you came for help, at least listen to the damn suggestions. We'll help you out here, just help us help you and try the things we suggest (as long as they don't break/blow up your computer).
On that note, you say "it always says its the driver"... just in case, could we see some of these crash-messages verbatim?

na i wasnt sayinh hhhmm i dno if i should try that i was saying hhhmm no i dont think i tried that, so soz if that came across wrongly and how could i get crash message verbatim.
On a side note i brung it back to 2.4 and seems better, why does that help??
jamespage17, have you ever checked your overclock for stability?
yer i ran prime95 for about 40 mins i think and had no errors and it seemed stable to me, thats why i dont understand my problem. I get extemely high temps though at full load i had 80C!!!
Its running pretty warm. and..... als oI had the same problems with my 9800GTX+ then I bought me a GTX260 and never had the problems again. if the problems are jsut in Crysis try lowering some settings. if you still have problems then its a faulty card like my 9800GTX+

80c is a bit high for a q6600 but i dont think it will go above 71c while running games.
Anyway, he said it gave the driver error so i'm thinking its an overall heat issue that is probably making the 260 give up. No overclock = less heat, that's why it's better at stock. Stick a fan on the side of your case or get an extractor fan for the pci slot and it should help a lot.
