Assuming you have the correct power; make sure you have the proper power plugs in place, if so and its under warranty I would send it in for a replacement or refund.

Is it the same without CPU OC?

HMMM not sure, could that realy be an issue?

First rule of OC'ing: results may vary. Put it back to standard and see what happens, can't get any worse can it?

No, actually, there's no chance at all. We just like making you do ridiculously stupid things like slowing down your computer back to the speed that it was delivered at.

Come on, you came for help, at least listen to the damn suggestions. We'll help you out here, just help us help you and try the things we suggest (as long as they don't break/blow up your computer).

On that note, you say "it always says its the driver"... just in case, could we see some of these crash-messages verbatim?

jamespage17, have you ever checked your overclock for stability?

yer i ran prime95 for about 40 mins i think and had no errors and it seemed stable to me, thats why i dont understand my problem. I get extemely high temps though at full load i had 80C!!!

Reply to jamespage17

Yer according to coretemp, i nearly crapped myself, u think its faulty?

Reply to jamespage17

Well, either your temp probe is wrong or you need better cooling/airflow to OC that far. What temp does it reach at stock clocks?

Its running pretty warm. and..... als oI had the same problems with my 9800GTX+ then I bought me a GTX260 and never had the problems again. if the problems are jsut in Crysis try lowering some settings. if you still have problems then its a faulty card like my 9800GTX+

i dont think i would OC your CPU until you get a better heat sink and fan

Reply to ct1615

80c is a bit high for a q6600 but i dont think it will go above 71c while running games.

Anyway, he said it gave the driver error so i'm thinking its an overall heat issue that is probably making the 260 give up. No overclock = less heat, that's why it's better at stock. Stick a fan on the side of your case or get an extractor fan for the pci slot and it should help a lot.
