I have the XFX GeForce 9800 GT.

To get rid of ridiculous idle temperature (at like 75 degrees Celsius) I have the fan speed up at about 90% to get it down to about 55 ish, 65ish while playing games.

If I leave it at 90% is it gonna kill the card's fan in the long run?

My 8800GT's have Zalman VF900's running at 100%, 100% of the time and as I had these HSF's on my 7900GT's that makes for about 2 1/2 years at full chat. I reckon you'll be OK.
