Hi!

I just finished building this PC and when it comes to set things in the bios im pretty bad...

All i can do is build PC's and play games!

Well first of all, this is my parts:

Intel i7 975 extreme
Rampage 2 extreme
Corsair XMS3 PC12800 1600MHz 6GB DDR3 (7-7-7-20)**
OCZ Vertex Series OCZSSD2-1VTX60G 2.5" 60GB
Nvidia 9800GTX (Waiting on my ATI5870.. out of stock everywhere!)

My problem is when i look in cpu-z for my memory info, my memory timings are 9-9-9-24 and my ram is 7-7-7-20!

Anyone can help me with that?

I would appreciate any other tips, i can provide cpu-z report too!

thanks

Hello and welcome to the forums :)
What is BIOS reporting ? if its set at auto then set the timings manually.
However something like this happened to me before,i had ASUS P5K-E WIFI motherboard with 4GB DDR2 800 RAM with 4-4-4-15 timings, and in BIOS the timings were 4-4-4-15 but CPU-Z was showing that i have a DDR3 RAM with 7-7-7-20 timings,so there wasn't a problem with my hardware, there was a bug with CPU-Z because my setup worked flawlessly
