Brand new hatchi 1th hdd stoped working

Hi all i just recieved my new hitachi hdd today and i installed windows 7 64 on it and it was working fine for around 5 and then justed stoped,the disk isnt spinning and in bios the hdd isnt even being detected,please help

Make sure that both the power cable and the (probably) SATA connector are firmly attached to the HDD and the Motherboard...
