i saved up enough money for 2 gtx 250's. Will that be enough to max out crysis at 1680x1050???

Two GTS250s are basically two 9800GTX+s.

My rig was two 9800GTXs, and I've played Crysis w/ the ultra-high mod @ 1280x1024 with over 40fps & AAx4


You should be easily able to play Crysis "maxed out" at very high and around AAx4 at 1680x1050

2 new GTS250s should cost you about $300-$320

why is gtx 250 more expensive than? Sorry for being a noob but what do you mean by AA?

wait...there is a GTX250? I have never heard of a GTX250, maybe a GTS250 you are talking about.
-If you are talking about GTS250's then 2 of them will max out crysis at 1680x1050 with ease...you may even be able to add 2x AA and if lucky 4x AA. You can always overclock them a bit and get extremely good performance.

Get the GTX 275 instead, lower power requirements and less heat plus no microstuttering

yes its GTS250 not GTX250 :o

if you want to SLI , two together than by all means, i think at that reslotuin a GTX275 is a bit of a waste, but than so is SLI GTS250 :p

i think it will beable to play crysis on higest settings at that resoltuion
