I've installed Ubuntu 10.10 as a dual boot system and its not detecting all of my hard disks. I've verified the drives are healthy and powered since I can see them all on the Windows XP operating system and they are showing up in the BIOS. Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R

I've pasted a copy of the fdisk -l below. There should be 2 more hard drives on this list

Thanx in advance

Ubuntu won't see the NTFS partitions by default. It's possible make them visible however.

http://www.arsgeek.com/2006/09/25/ubuntu-tricks-how-to-mount-your-windows-partition-and-make-it-readwritable/

(Note that I didn't read those articles at all, they're just the first couple results from Google)

While Ubuntu can be made to see the NTFS file system, Windows won't be able to access Ubuntu's EXT file system.
