Hi ya'll,

i've got this problem where, my computer was booting up as fast as hell. but i took the ram out to show a friend how they looked, then when i put them back in, my computers boot time was hella slow. i turned off my computer and even turned off

the button at the back of the case, also grounded myself before taking out an puttin the ram back in.. so any ideas how this coulda happened? Or how to fix this issue? or did this happened to someone else out there.

Check each stick of RAM and each DIMM slot.

Boot with 1 stick at a time to make sure they all work. Then use one stick in each slot to test them as well.

If all sticks and all slots still seem OK, we'll look at other stuff.

Power down and unhook all peripheral devices (printers, external hard drives, etc...) then reboot. Any progress?

Check the BIOS to see if your settings or boot order could be causes the slow down.
