ATI Mobility Radeon 3430 dirver update

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-NS295J that came with an ATI Mobility Radeon 3430 grahics card in it. Can someone please help me figure out how to update the driver? I have tried a couple of times, but can not get it to work. The only driver the computer will recognize is the one that was loaded with it. The dirver version that is on the computer now is 8.513.1.0. On Sony's update site the driver actually has Sony in the name. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I know for my Gateway (Which has a mobility X1400) the only drivers that it will let you install are those sent out by Gateway. It may have something to do with the card BIOS (so that it will only accept their modified drivers). There may be a way to get around it, but it is probably not worth it for a laptop.

Use some modified drivers, they are usually customised so they work on any architecture, particularly on oem computers (like yours).
