I have the Gigabyte p55-ud4p and want to put a sound card in the system, I don't see a place turn off the onboard sound in the bios. Should I remove the drivers from device manager or will the sould card over ride every thing? Thanks For the help.

Register or log in to remove.

Installing it should take care of that for you.

if there's an uninstall option in the add/remove programs i'd suggest you uninstall from there, so it removes and small taskbar apps that it might have installed. if there is no option, then just install the new card
