i really believe that usb 3.0 is a much bigger player than sata 6, but msi is pretty much in charge of the board market, and the real money is made in the sub $150 sector, which does not have enough money for the upcomming sata 6 ssds, or a flash key with internal raid that can run 320mb/s, usb 3.0 tho, i think is the bigger loss tho, because my external drives are bottlenecked big time

Intel's part is confusing because of the Cable switch to one DisplayPort, "Light Peak is essentially an effort to merge the future of both USB and display interfaces such as DisplayPort. It parallels the efforts years ago to consolidate serial and parallel ports on USB.", in the process of enabeling USB 3.0. Very clever... so get it on and forget about Nvidia until they get their act together... Strange behavior from Intel.
