My current specs are:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
DDR2 4GB (2x2GB kit) PC8000 (1000MHz) OCZ, Platinum XTC, DC kit
ASUS P5E
GeCube Radeon HD 3870 X-Turbo III
500W Silverstone Power Supply

I have a motherboard that can Crossfire but am not currently interested in that since my budget isn't that high. Am not looking for anything expensive, and I have my eye candy on these 2 motherboards:

XFX Radeon HD4830, 512MB DDR3 http://www.ve-mil.hr/opis.aspx?sifra=1010778
Zotac GF GTX260 192p, 896MB DDR3 http://www.ve-mil.hr/opis.aspx?sifra=1011264

Both of these GPU's are pretty good and u can google their names if u don't understand a word of this language (specs are in english btw)

If you are comparing 4830 to GTX 260, its 260 all the way...

... especially since you aren't using crossfire.

if money is not an issue,
the GTX260 will outperform the 4830 easily

Try and get a 216 GTX260, more SP's can't be a bad thing.

If you have a Crossfire Motherboard go with ATI GPU, you can always buy a 2nd one in the future and increase your performance significantly.

here is an ATI HD4870 1GB card that you can buy from your store:

I currently have two HD4870 1GB running in crossfire and they are awesome.

Cheers

One more thing: Is there a hug gap between these 2 GPU's or GTX260 is barely more powerful than the HD 4830?

Dude your best chances are to read the reviews ;) that more solid raw info you need

Ignore every other GPU except GT160, GT260+ and 4830... you will notice that on higher resolutions that 4830 is showing greater performance than the other 2

Your link is to the game Devil May Cry, which is the only game in their list that has the 4830 even coming close to the GTX260. If you check out the rest of the games in the review, GTX260 and the 9800GTX totally dominates the 4830

Sorry for triple posting my net was having some difficulties at that time and I was unsure if I sent the message. Thank you for understanding. BTW if you look at the DVM fps results you 'll see that 4830 is pwning them at higher resolutions.
