I have problems locking down the retainer pins of my CPU fan when my motherboard is in the case, because somehow, the excess pressure on the board worries me, as I fear the board might break. I have seen many other people install the components outside of the chasis before placing the motherboard into the casing. I was wondering if this was a good idea? Thanks
Installing the CPU and cooler before mounting the mobo in the case is a good idea as it gives access to the back side of the mobo when installing the cooler.
I wouldnt worry too much about the board though. They are tougher than they look. Just dont pound on it or anything stupid. Common sense ftw...
