I have a 1090t oc'd to 3.4 (3.8 turbo) on the stock cooler with the same settings shown here:
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/overclocking-phenom...

When stress testing with prime95 and Handbrake, AMD Overdrive and Coretemp show that my max is 57C averaging 56C. I haven't had any stability issues so far, but I'm not sure if it's safe to run these settings long term. Any suggestions?

Still safe.. Maximum voltage 60c, I think your oc still under default voltage still save. Alway keep temp below 57 if use stock cooler. I yoiu want more use after market cooler.

Getting those temps in prime95 is good you should not see anywhere close to that in normal use.
