Here are my two choices. Btw, its for an i7 860 build. 1156.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH

CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMD4GX3M2A1600C8

I know the G-Skill has better timings on it, but Corsair is a more trusted name, and its on sale for $20 cheaper.. which one should I get? The only bad thing about the Corsair is it said the RAM is rather big and might get in the way of an after marker CPU cooler.

Better safe than sorry regarding the CPU cooler and the RAM heatspreader so go with the G.Skill. It's still pretty good RAM so you're not selling yourself short.

I was kind of thinking that too, but it depends on the mobo. Looking at mine, what do you guys think?
