How to retrieve the driver of wd my passport

i accedentally deleted the driver of my wd passport essential 500gb, how can i retrieve the driver?

Go to the "Recycle Bin" and restore it? Go to "system restore" and restore your system to the point before you deleted it? This is of course if you are using a modern version of Windows.

-or go to the WD website and download (and then install) the latest drivers/utilities. Regardless, Windows should detect the HDD as a new device after rebooting and reload the default drivers anyway.

Shut the system down. Remove the passport. Boot the system. When fully up, connect the passport and let Windows re-install the drivers. If that fails, run the install from the files you downloaded from WD.
