MicroCenter is apparently having an i7 sale for $200. I'm in the process of getting together an i7 build, so perfect! I'd like to get a D0 though if possible. How do I tell the difference?

it says it directly on the chip... i don't think you can tell if its the right stepping by the box (correct me if i am wrong)

It says it on the box. SLBEJ is D0, SLBCH is C0.
