MSI 6870 Hawk Safe Vcore?

Hey all! I was wondering if setting the vcore to 1.3 or 1.35 would damage my card?

I hit 58-61 temps using 1.275 vcore with these overclock settings

1043/1200 @ 60-65 fan speed.

Any help would be appreciated :l

Well I have a 6850 that I have sett at 1.268 and Msi afterburnjer doesn't let you go much over that, and since the design of the card itself (not the cooler) is the same (part of the cores are just laser cut to make it slower) I would say your card will likely have similar limits. I will try and get you an exact number in a sec.

One last question, I am having trouble with trying to use 1.275 vcore. Every time I set/type it in msi afterburner it goes down to 1.274 any idea why it keeps doing that?

I couldn't get you an exact number sorry about that. As for the vcore problem I have encountered it also, it just seems to be a odd quirk with the program (I bet your using 2.1 or 2.2 beta right?) perhaps it's set to what the voltage chip would work best with. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
