Lots of Drives; Increase Chipset Voltage?

I have 5 1TB and 1 2TB hard drives that I use for storage and backup in addition to my boot drive. I am getting ready to install an SSD as my boot drive and it has been suggested that I bump up the chipset voltage a notch or two.
Is this a good idea?

I wouldn't touch it. It may pay to make sure your power supply can handle the 6 drives without straining.
You can calculate your power requirements at Antec by ticking off the components in your pc.

I have a Corsair 750w PSU, only one video card, and the drives, that's about it. The power supply should be adequate.
I agree with you, I think I'll wait and see what happens.

I wouldn't. I'm running 5 hard drives (1 SSD, 2 velociraptors, 1 1TB, 1 2TB) and a blu-ray drive, and I haven't touched the chipset voltage.
