I wasn't able to update Microsoft essential, I ran combofix, and rootkit virus, i believe rootkit.win32 something something was found! I have Ran all this software in attempt to fix it(sdfix, sophos, trend micro, avg, avast, ccleaner, tweaknow, stinger, malwarebyte, gmer, tdsskiller) they all picked up, and cleaned some viruses, but the system still has issues. My internet connection is down, it keep trying to acquire IP address, but it never seem to does. I've tried to configure the ip address by release and renewing, but i get a error saying "media disconnected" I have full wireless signal on task tray, but my Internet browser(firefox&IE8) cannot display any sites. this is what i got from hijackthis

PLZ HELP!
Thanks

Seeing as how you have run so many different APPS (some of which should only be run under supervision of a malware expert, by the way), and seeing that Malwarebytes was one of them, I suggest you go here, register on their forum, and post in the malware removal forum. One of their Malware techs will help you. The registration and the assistance is free. And, they are good !

How does this help, if you cannot get to the Internet...???

I have similar problem with zcfgsvc, I know it is related to the virus, cannot get rid of it!

But, I will...

Sometimes we just don't get it right. Completely ignoring the fact there is no Internet connection.

With a rootkit, you can never be sure you have eradicated the problem. Save what you can(personal files), wipe the HD and install your OS.
