I have a wireless network connected to the Internet. I am having a problem of limited or no connectivity sometimes and then sometimes it connects. My ISP has a DHCP server and that is how i get my IP\'s. I installed a router recently and set up DHCP but am still getting the same problem. I asked my ISP whether there was a problem from their own end but they said the problem is local.

Isn't it a reception problem ?

Try changing channels (the different frequencies wok better or worse depending on environs) If you can detect neighbouring wifi, choose a channel at least 5 stops away from strongest neighbour.

Raise the router above furniture level. Relocate cordless phone base, video sender etc away from router or computer.
