Cooling for 6950 flashed to 6970

I know how to flash a 6950 to 6970. It is obvious that the 6950 will heat real good after being OCed. Is cooling necessary for this overclocking?

Look at the Radeon 6970 part. If you do the flash and oc to Radeon 6970 clocks, your results will be equal to it. 80 degrees celsius is ok for a high end card.

That means I dont need coolers?

I don't think you need to switch the coolers. However, keep an eye on your temps
