Just assembled a new computer, everything is plugged in the way it should be.

And here is the problem: System becomes unresponsive after doing the Boot from cd/dvd, does not respond to ctrl-alt-del.

Tried changing CD/DVD drives and the problem persists.

Unplugging the harddrive gives me the DISK BOOT FAILURE yadda yadda, which it is supposed to in this case, since I do not have a bootable CD in the drive.

Brand new harddrive that suddenly does not work?

PS: It gave me the error just fine earlier even with the harddrive connected.
