Hi, I was just wondering if my motherboard supports Nvidias geforce gtx 295 graphics card. My motherboard is> MA790GP-DS4H. My worry is this that as the graphics card is, as i have read, basically two past gtx cards joined together by sli and put into one case, will it be compatible with my motherboard, as my motherboard doesnt support sli? Thanks.
Your motherboard can sopport the Nvidia GTX295 because the card is already in SLI mode (2 Nvidia's GTX280) even though you motherboard is an AMD 790G chip set with Crossfire, you only need one PCI-E for the GTX295, now the question is do you have a PSU to power that card?
well i have a 800watt psu, is that enough? But the graphics card needs a 6 pin pci pin thing and an 8 pin one, and my psu hasnt got a 8 pin one, so does the graphics card coem with an adapter? or will i have to buy one? and thanks a lot for answering my questyion
Ok i made a mistake, my psu is 750 watts (SilverStone model number ST75F), right now i have a nvidia fx 5600 graphics card, Amd phenom 2 X4 940 processor (3Ghz) and 2x2gb ram only recognises 3.25 cause its 32-bit. So is 750watts enogu?
thanks, although the graphics card isnt good enough for gaming, as i want one that can play crysis on max with 8 sample AA, but this can only play on max with 2 sample AA
