RAM: 2x 1GB DDR2 (exact same model and manufacturer).
Extras: None - cuttently using onboard GFX,
I've tried literally everything I can think of - clearing the CMOS, changing the battery, removing all PCI cards, tried using IDE instead of SATA.
But nothing works! I used the button trick - no joy - nada.
It's quite annoying!
Everything powers up as if it's going to boot - the fans come on, the ethernet port lights up receiving signal and the HDD powers up also - however there is no POST boot screen and the monitor goes into sleep mode.
Using a PS/2 keyboard and all three lights come on at first but that's it.
Windows 7 is currently installed on my HDD and most of the components used with the motherboard are new and worked with my last motherboard which was a Foxconn RC4107MA-RS2H.
I've never heard of your power supply. I would try a different one, and do a bare post on a phonebook with no drives connected, just cpu/heatsink, memory, video, and keyboard. Check the position of the cmos jumper also.
The ethernet port will go on if the board gets power, it's not an indication of any computing occuring, the hard drives are directly connected to the power supply, same thing. This could be a bad cpu or motherboard, make sure a pc speaker is connected in case it's beeping error codes.
