Mobile Graphics 260M VS 6770M

I'm looking at getting a new notebook for school and found one I really like and it has a 6770M for a graphics card and I'm currently using an Asus G72GX w/ 260M in my gaming computer. Now could I substitute this one notebook for both my gaming and school computer? (I barely game on PC, some occasional wow and defiantly Portal 2) Would a 6770 run as fast or faster than a 260M? I know little to nothing about AMD graphics cards and cannot measure the two against each other, please help!

Current computer:
Asus G72GX
260M graphics card
Core 2 DUO
6GB DDR2 ram

New Computer:
Hp DV6
Core i7 2720QM
6770M w/ 1gb ram
6GB DDR3 ram
