SSD's and Antivirus Tags: SSD Antivirus Storage Last response: January 17, 2011 10:53 AM in Storage Share Knox Gelatin January 15, 2011 11:06:50 PM I don't know anything about how antivirus programs work, but is there any chance scanning a solid state drive will write information on the drive? I'm thinking about getting a new SSD, but I want to know if installing Ad-aware will have any negative side effects. Thanks in advance.
