After installing Windows XP on a new harddisk everything
worked fine and 2 volumes were created. But the old
harddisk still contained 4 volumes - after copying all
the important data from those old volumes i deleted them
all and repartitioned and formated those 4 to one big
volume. But afterwards my start- and systemvolume always
gets drive letter F:
The problem with the explorer is that all the icons are
missing, also many programs still favorize c:\ over all
other volumes and disregard WINHOME.
Is there any possibility to change the drive letter ?
best regards
michael
