I have an Asus A8N-SLI Premium and when I turn on my computer, a REALLY high pitched noise is emitted from the motherboard. The source is about near the CPU. I do not know what's going on.

I recently changed the power supply. It was working before the power supply change, but afterwards it makes this noise.

Last time I've heard that noise my PSU exploded a couple seconds later lmao.
Are you sure it's coming from the board? Is your PSU correctly mounted?

If the sound is coming from the motherboard around the CPU socket, it's probably coming from the ferrite cored coils used in the on board voltage regulator.
