Chassis Intrusion Detected - Any ideas?

Hello Everybody:

I used the "Everest" software on my dad's computer, and it showed under the sensor tab, "Chassis Intrusion Detected - Yes".

I looked for it in Google, but didn't come up with any relevant results to my case.

Can anyone tell me whether it is a good thing or a bad thing, or perhaps it doesn't matter?

If it is indeed not good, please tell me what I can do to fix it.

I see the same thing with everest: chassis intrusion: detected
What does it mean?

Generally all that means is that you've open the side panel of your case.
There's a setting in your bios to enable or disable chassis intrusion.
It's about as relevant as the seat-belt light on your cars dashboard.
