I want to resert my access point but when i press the button it doesn't.

Get online or pull out the manual and make sure you are doing it right, some of them can be tricky..

You have to sometimes hold things for extended periods of time.. You might have to have the power ON or OFF during the button holding.. They have safeties sometimes so your cat doesn't just flop its tail down and bone your network.
