Hi everyone,

First I'd like to thank all those who have given their advice so far. I think I've finally picked out all the parts I want. Here is a link to my original post for this build. All prices are in Canadian $.

Intel Core i7 920: $339.99

Asus P6T SE: $249.99

OCZ 6Gb PC-3 10666 DDR3 Triple Channel Platinum Low-Voltage Edition: $119.99

Antec Sonata Designer 500: $179.99

Antec Earthwatts 500 (included with case)

Western Digital Black 640gb HDD: $84.99

Optical: DVD +/- RW DL, SATA, Lightscribe - will be chosen while at the store: ~$30

Scythe KAMA FLEX Fan 92mm (1600rpm): $9.99

XIGMATEK Dark Knight-S1283V: $49.99

Video Card: Galaxy 8800gt, carried over from previous build.

Final Total (including shipping charges): $1096.93

So what do you think? I plan on experimenting with a conservative overclock on the the CPU (3.00 or 3.33 Ghz). Is the cooling sufficient? Is the PSU up to the task? Any advice or last minute observations? Is this build a go or a no-go?

Thanks again for all the help!

similar case but a good bit cheaper and it comes with a front mounted fan, exact same PSU

Thanks for the advice, but I already considered the Sonata III. I prefer the layout of the Sonata Designer, especially in terms of cable management. I'm also not a huge fan of bezel doors.
