I bought the MOBO 10 months ago. Everything works fine except that my HDD (ide) wont work well its ok since I needed to upgrade my HDD so I bought a SATA one it works fine but now I bought a new DVD ROM (SATA) and wapow! it doens't work. I tried a different SATA cable doesn't help so I plug my HDD SATA on a different SATA slot to see if the DVD rom is the problem so I turn on my PC and after the windows loading screen it restarted. Tried again on a different SATA slot same thing happen :ouch: so only my SATA2 is working??? do I need to do something to properly enable them? I dont OC and I dont tinker on my BIOS so I sure I didn't do anything to screw my setting.
Any help would be appreciated

SEAGATE 320GB 7200RPM SATA
ASUS P5K-SE/EPU
KINGSTON DDR2 800 2GB (X2)
OPTICAL DRIVE:LG DVRRW
HEC ZEPHYR 750 WATTS
XP
