BIOS update failed. Computer does not boot. Board is D850MV with Intel/AMI BIOS and RDRAM.
When power plug is inserted the processor fan starts turning and LED on motherboard, power switch and CD drive light up. Floppy LED does not turn on. There is no video. No beeps.
If CD is inserted there is activity for a brief period and then it stops and its LED goes off. There is no Floppy drive activity even after inserting a floppy.
Computer switches off when Power switch is kept depressed for few seconds. All above LEDs light up when power switch is again pressed.
BIOS does not seek floppy drive even if bootable recovery floppy is inserted and Ctrl+Home key combination is pressed.
What next? Please advice.......
