I have an Evga motherboard 780i nforce, when I start my pc my display is remains in standby and I dont get a picture. At first I thought perhaps my graphic card went bad, so I tried using a different card and I got the same result. Both graphic cards were tested on anothe pc and worked just fine. Which brings me to the conclusion something is wrong with my motherboard. The LED display of the motherboard shows FF = no errors as far as I know. I'm just guessing but perhaps there is something wrong with my pci express slot?

^You can check with the led of the HDD activity, or with the sound of windows when star if the system load correctly or not.
If you have more that one PCI-E slot, change the GPU to another slot.

windows loads fine.
I tried both pci-e slots.
I tried 2 different gpus as well.
even if windows didnt load properly, I don't see any reason why I wouldnt get a boot screen at least.
Thanks.
Ok, the last option, unfortunately, is your board (how you said). Or the last option (stupid option) is that your monitor have a problem with the video cable.
